Resnet HostingAcceptable Use Policy
## 1. Scope This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all services provided by Resnet Hosting ("we", "us", "our"), including game server hosting, virtual/dedicated server hosting, and any associated panel, billing, or support services (the "Services"). It applies to all customers, and to any sub-users, players, or third parties granted access to a Customer's server or account. ## 2. Permitted Use You may use the Services only for lawful purposes consistent with the service you've purchased. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions taken by anyone you grant access to. ## 3. Prohibited Use You may not use the Services to: - Violate any applicable local, national, or international law - Host or distribute illegal content, including CSAM, terrorism-related material, or content infringing third-party IP - Launch or facilitate DDoS attacks, network intrusion, or unauthorized scanning of systems you don't own - Distribute malware or malicious code - Send spam or operate open mail relays - Engage in phishing, identity theft, or fraud - Run undisclosed resource-intensive processes (e.g. crypto mining) that degrade service for others - Circumvent security features or access other customers' data without authorization - Resell the Services in violation of your agreement, or misrepresent your relationship with us - Violate sanctions, export control, or trade restriction laws (including OFAC, EU, and UK regimes) High-risk activities — security-testing tools, penetration-testing infrastructure, VPN/proxy exit nodes — require prior written approval. ## 4. Compliance with Laws You're responsible for ensuring your use of the Services complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction and ours, including data protection, export control, and sanctions law. ## 5. Third Parties and Sub-Users If you grant access to your service to anyone else, you remain responsible for their compliance with this AUP. Violations by a sub-user are treated as a violation by the Customer who granted access. ## 6. Monitoring and Enforcement We may monitor use of the Services for compliance, including automated resource/traffic monitoring, without routinely inspecting private server content absent a complaint or legal obligation. Where we believe this AUP has been violated, we may warn, suspend, or terminate the account (with or without refund depending on severity), remove content, and cooperate with law enforcement where required. ## 7. Reporting Violations Contact support@resnethosting.com to report a suspected violation. ## 8. Changes We may update this policy; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. *This policy is a general template and not a substitute for legal advice specific to your jurisdiction.*
