# Terms of Service **Last updated:** 13/08/2026 These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Resnet Hosting ("we", "us", "our"), including game server hosting and any associated panel, billing, or support services (the "Services"). By purchasing or using the Services, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms. Please also review our [Acceptable Use Policy](/aup), which forms part of this agreement. ## 1. The Services We provide game server hosting and related services as described on our website at the time of purchase. Specifications (RAM, CPU allocation, storage, etc.) are as advertised for the plan purchased; we do not guarantee a specific population count, tick rate, or in-game performance, as these depend on factors including game software, mods, and player behavior. ## 2. Accounts You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including that of anyone you grant access to your server or panel. ## 3. Billing and Payment - Services are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, or as selected at checkout) unless otherwise stated. - Payments are processed through our payment provider, Mollie. We do not store your full payment card details. - Failure to pay by the due date may result in suspension of the affected Service. Continued non-payment may result in termination and deletion of the Service and its associated data. - Prices may change with reasonable advance notice for future billing periods; changes do not apply retroactively to periods already paid. ## 4. Refunds - Unless required by applicable consumer protection law, payments are non-refundable once a Service has been provisioned, as provisioning incurs immediate cost to us. - If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will review the matter in good faith. - Refunds, where granted, are issued to the original payment method via Mollie. ## 5. Cancellation - You may cancel a Service at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless otherwise required by law. - We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a Service for violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, with or without notice depending on severity, as described in the AUP. ## 6. Data and Backups - You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important data (worlds, saves, configurations) in addition to any backups we may provide. - While we take reasonable steps to safeguard data, we do not guarantee against data loss and are not liable for data loss arising from hardware failure, customer error, third-party mods/plugins, or events outside our reasonable control. - Upon termination or cancellation of a Service, associated data may be deleted after a reasonable grace period, at our discretion. ## 7. Service Availability We aim to provide reliable Services but do not currently offer a formal uptime Service Level Agreement (SLA) or financial credit for downtime. We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of planned maintenance where practical. ## 8. Acceptable Use Use of the Services is subject to our [Acceptable Use Policy](/aup), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Violations may result in suspension or termination as described there. ## 9. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Resnet Hosting is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected Service in the three (3) months preceding the claim. ## 10. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. ## 11. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise. ## 12.
